February/March Monthly Message
Hello! We didn't have many announcements for February, but here are a few items of note as March is just around the corner.
Summer Mission Trip
- There will be a mission trip for middle school students to Memphis, TN June 27 - July 3. If your daughter is interested, she will need to apply this week. The application can be found here.
- Please reach out to Pastor Josiah (jbrondyke@idlewild.org) or Pastor Zack (zjernigan@idlewild.org) if you have any questions.
- The girls loved serving in preschool last fall and are eager for another opportunity. We are tentatively planning to do it again during our regular class time on Sunday, March 8 (pending confirmation from the preschool department).
- We will meet in Hall 1 as usual at 9:15 am for Student Ministry announcements. We will then go to the Preschool wing and the girls will be divided among the 1-4 year old classrooms. If your daughter arrives after 9:30 am, have her go directly to the Preschool desk and they will direct her from there.
- The girls will assist the adult volunteers in keeping children entertained and engaged in the Bible lesson, music, snack time, etc. (No diaper changes!)
- Your daughter should wear comfortable, modest clothing as they will be playing with the children on the floor.
- The girls will be released at 10:45 am to attend service or be picked up by their parents at the Preschool desk.
- Mark your calendars for our outdoor movie night on Saturday, March 21 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
